It has been a busy week but I finally have time to update my blog. I managed to get my class samples done and my craft studio finished. I think it is finally the way I want it....for now, I'm sure I'll change my mind in a couple of months...LOL.
Here are a couple of samples from my Fabulous Fairies class I will be teaching at Scrap Arts in July. I will put the dates for this class and the others on my schedule page.
The background paper for the first card is done with Tim Holtz distress inks. I love these inks, you can use them for so many different techniques. The fairy stamp in the corner is from Crafty Secrets "Fairies"set and the flourish stamps are by Basic Grey. I used a star dust pen as an accent, it looks a little weird in the picture but really pretty in person.
The second card is done using the spellbinders nestabilities small scalloped circles. The stamps are from the Crafty Secrets "Fairyland" set and some of the flowers in background of image are from the "Kewpies" stamp set. You can get these stamp sets from Scrap Arts if you live locally. The images are colored with water color pencils.
There are 4 cards and 1 tag/bookmark in this class. I will post the rest of the samples and pictures of my studio in a couple of days. I think I will make a few more cards this afternoon. Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by.

Happy Father's Day!
Wishing all the great Dad’s out there a wonderful Father’s Day. Here are a few more cards I made for the occasion. The first 2 card are done with the new stamp set “What A Catch” by Flourishes.
I colored the image with copics (BG10, YG11, YG13, R02, E000, B000, B00, B01), cut it out using spellbinders small labels. Inked around the image with versa magic wheat ink. The card stock is bitter chocolate & parakeet. The patterned paper is from the crate paper brook collection.
The copics I used for this image are E41, E42, E43, E44, E21, E25, E29, W1, W2, W4, YG11, YG13, BG10. I used the Tim Holtz wood grain embossing folder to create the background and inked it with some versa magic jumbo java ink.
The third card is basically the same as the one I made for my "Just for Him" card class. I used a different verse and added some Tim Holtz distress ink walnut stain to the edges as well. The stamps are from Flourishes, Crafty Secrets & Local King.
I recently revamped my craft room and I will post some pictures as soon as I get it finished. I still have a couple of shelves to put up. Kit seems happy with the way the room turned out and is enjoying more desk space to sleep on.
I'm off to work on my studio a bit more and will have some pictures to post in a few days. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.
