A couple of projects

Hello everyone

I hope you have all had a great week, and are having an even better weekend.  I am working all weekend so I won't be getting much crafting done.  I did finish working on the main part of my studio earlier this week and I am quite happy with how it turned out.

The first picture shows my main craft desk wall, it basically takes up one whole wall in the studio and is from floor to ceiling.  The other side of the room has storage and my sewing desk (which does not get used much....however, I do plan to use it more).
The second picture is of my main work area.  This is where I keep most of my inks, markers stamps and tools.  If you are wondering, that is magnetic sheets up on the wall to hold all spellbinders & other dies from various companies.  It is the easiest storage method and I love not having to go search for them.  All my unmounted stamps are on the first shelf above my desk, they are filed in magazine boxes that I have flipped over and sorted by company.  I will post some pictures of how I have done this later.  I have other inks, dyes and refills in drawers below.
The last picture shows the other side of the work area.  This is where I have my cricut create machine, cartridges, papers, stencils & misc supplies.  Also there is a small stand in front of this area that has my Big Shot & Zutter bind-it-all machine.  Of course my Cricut Mini is at another desk attached to my computer.

Here are a couple of cards I made last year.  I can't remember what color copics I used for them.  Not a ton on the black and white one as it was mostly paper piecing and grey tones.   I think I probably used N0, 1, 3, 5 & 7 on her dress & hair and E000, 01 & 02 for the flesh tones.  The patterned paper is from an older do crafts black & white paper pack. The main image is a Stamping Bella Stamp Uptown Girl "Posh has a Present".

I used a sakura star dust pen on the presents and for the black ribbon & bow I used a wink of Stella black glitter pen.

The second card is also using a Stamping Bella stamp Uptown Girl "Ava loves to celebrate".  The patterned papers on this one are from the basic Grey "Porcelain" collection.  I'm really not sure what copic colors I used on this project.  I did paper piece the dress and used the "out of the box technique" to cut it out.  For the oval shapes I used spellbinders large & small petite ovals.
I also added some bling with rhinestones, a sakura stardust pen and some diamond stickles.

That's it for tonight, it is getting late and I do have to work in the morning.  Have a great week everyone and thanks for stopping by.

When I can't craft....

...I shop,  with great plans of what I will make when I have the time, LOL!!!  Here are a few pictures of things I picked up over the last year.  My local Scrapbook store closed so I have been buying on line from and when I'm at Comic Conventions (there are almost  always art supplies available at the big conventions).

This is a bunch of goodies I got in spring 2014 from One Crazy Stamper.  You can see a couple of these stamps in some samples I will be putting up soon.

This is a bunch of goodies I got last fall from One Crazy Stamper.  Some new papers and stamps and inks.  Really haven't had a chance to try out much of this stuff yet.

This is what I got from the Copic booth last year at ECCC 2014!

This is what I got at FanExpo Vancouver 2014

This is my haul from the Copic booth ECCC 2015!

I have also been working on reorganizing my craft studio yet again.  Had to make room for 2 kitties who also like to share that room.  Here is a peak at part of my desk so far... I will post more pics later.

I will post some pictures of projects from the past several months tomorrow.  I will try to add as many details as I can but I probably won't remember what color markers I used on the images.  Well, I'm off to do more work on my studio.  Have a great evening everyone and thanks for stopping by.

It has been a very long while

I know it has been over a year since I updated this blog, but it has been an absolutely crazy year! For a very long time I just wasn't able to spend much time in my studio.  I also lost my crafting assistant last year and didn't like spending time in the studio with out her.

After several months my DH and I decided to adopt a couple of rescue cats.  It took a while to get them situated and used to us and then we had to move our business again.  Once that was done we were into the Christmas season, then inventory and then Comic Convention season.

So now that things are some what back to normal, I have been getting my studio reorganized and hope to spend a little more time in there.  I will try to post every week or so and get back to doing some challenges.  I do have some pictures of projects that I did have time to do, but never got a chance to post.  I think I even managed to get a Christmas card made in December LOL!

I will have a page dedicated to each cat (if I can ever figure out how to get them to show up across the top bar again)  I made them and published them but they don't seem to show up.  For now here a few pics of our new girls.

she likes to destroy things :)

Well I guess that is enough for tonight and I will be back in a couple of days with a few more pictures!

Thanks for visiting my blog!
