How on Earth.....

....is it the middle of October already.  I was so positive I was going to be better at posting this year, but life got in the way.  We ended up moving our store yet again and that took months of extra work before, during and after the move.  So here we are mid October and I finally have a little crafting time.  Hopefully I will be able to spend more time in my craft studio over the next few months.  I will endeavor to update my blog as I go.

I did pick up a bunch of new craft supplies this year, I have made a few things and I will try and post the older projects over the next few weeks.

You will notice in my last post from way back in January that I am really loving the stamps from Kindred Stamps!  I did buy quite a few more sets this year and I finally got a chance to make a card with some of them.

When I get new sets, I tend to stamp a bunch of the images out and color the images in while watching TV.  I cut the images out and then make cards with them.

Here is the first card I made using the Bursting Love stamp set.   I stamped the images with Memento tuxedo black ink and colored them with copic markers.  The back ground panel was made with the the Tim Holtz 3d texture fade embossing Folder "Foundry" and several inks (distress inks pumice stone, & hickory smoke, memento london fog, prima tin can & encore silver metallic)  the additional strip was a small piece cut from another texture fade panel (colored with the same inks) but this one is called "Mechanics" and I added a few black rhinestones.

Guess that's about it for this post.  Will attempt to be back with more in a few days! (fingers crossed 😊)
Thanks for stopping by
