I hope you have all had a great week, and are having an even better weekend. I am working all weekend so I won't be getting much crafting done. I did finish working on the main part of my studio earlier this week and I am quite happy with how it turned out.
The first picture shows my main craft desk wall, it basically takes up one whole wall in the studio and is from floor to ceiling. The other side of the room has storage and my sewing desk (which does not get used much....however, I do plan to use it more).
The second picture is of my main work area. This is where I keep most of my inks, markers stamps and tools. If you are wondering, that is magnetic sheets up on the wall to hold all spellbinders & other dies from various companies. It is the easiest storage method and I love not having to go search for them. All my unmounted stamps are on the first shelf above my desk, they are filed in magazine boxes that I have flipped over and sorted by company. I will post some pictures of how I have done this later. I have other inks, dyes and refills in drawers below.
The last picture shows the other side of the work area. This is where I have my cricut create machine, cartridges, papers, stencils & misc supplies. Also there is a small stand in front of this area that has my Big Shot & Zutter bind-it-all machine. Of course my Cricut Mini is at another desk attached to my computer.
Here are a couple of cards I made last year. I can't remember what color copics I used for them. Not a ton on the black and white one as it was mostly paper piecing and grey tones. I think I probably used N0, 1, 3, 5 & 7 on her dress & hair and E000, 01 & 02 for the flesh tones. The patterned paper is from an older do crafts black & white paper pack. The main image is a Stamping Bella Stamp Uptown Girl "Posh has a Present".
I used a sakura star dust pen on the presents and for the black ribbon & bow I used a wink of Stella black glitter pen.
The second card is also using a Stamping Bella stamp Uptown Girl "Ava loves to celebrate". The patterned papers on this one are from the basic Grey "Porcelain" collection. I'm really not sure what copic colors I used on this project. I did paper piece the dress and used the "out of the box technique" to cut it out. For the oval shapes I used spellbinders large & small petite ovals.
I also added some bling with rhinestones, a sakura stardust pen and some diamond stickles.
That's it for tonight, it is getting late and I do have to work in the morning. Have a great week everyone and thanks for stopping by.
