Class Samples Complete!!!

Well I was up till 1:00am working on them but they are finally done.  My deadline for class samples was today and I did manage to finish on time.  I just might even be able to complete my challenge by September 15th.  I hope so because I have guests arriving on the 16th.  So I needed to do one more card for my fall class that I am calling "Autumn in Paris".  The other 3 cards for this class are in the post dated August 19th. This is what I came up with for the final card.

The centre image piece is glossy white card stock and alcohol inks (rust, butterscotch & metallic copper).  The stamps (Crafty Secrets "French Mail") are done with black momento ink.  For the background I used copper metallic bazzill and a pumpkin cuttlebug folder.

The next 3 cards are for my Christmas card class which I am calling "Blue Christmas",  The first card for this class is the snowman card I posted on August 20th.

The main image stamp for this card is a Santa face stamp by Rubber Stampede (Delta).  I use this stamp a lot at Christmas it is one of my favorites.  I guess you would call the fold of this card a Z fold, I just wanted to do something different for this card.  I embossed the front white panel with the ornament cuttlebug folder and used some tumbled glass distress ink on it.  The stamp design & greeting on the inside of the card are done with stamps from the Crafty Secrets "Vintage Christmas" set.  Although it doesn't show up in the picture there is glitter on the snowflakes on the Santa image.  When the card is closed, the greeting is hidden.

The next card is done with a tree from the Stampin' Up set "Lovely as a Tree".  The two colors of ink for the trees are Tim Holtz distress inks broken china and tumbled glass.  The Merry Christmas greeting is from a Bombshell stamp set.  I also used a few rhinestones to decorate a few of the snowflakes in the background.

The final card for this set has a little more color on it.  I used starmist and parakeet bazzill and some basic grey patterned paper.  The stamps for the image part are from the "Vintage Christmas" set again and the greeting from Bombshell.  I stamped the image and then cut it our using Spellbinders Labels 1 die.  I colored the image with watercolor pencils and added a little bling for decoration.

These 4 cards are #'s 11, 12, 13 & 14 of 30.  I may even get a project or two done tomorrow.  I'm almost certain I'll have to come back tomorrow and correct something in this post, as I am falling asleep at the keyboard as I type this.

Well I think that's about it for now.  Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting everyone.
