... Me!!! I'm so excited...I went to the Kraftin Kimmie page this morning to check out the new challenge for this week and found out that I won last week's challenge. I totally wasn't expecting that and it was a great start to my day! So this weeks challenge is "Get Sentimental" and here is my card.
I am having fun with all the Wonderland stamps. For this one I decided to use the "Mad Hatter" and one of the stamps from the "Wonderland Sentiments" set. I stamped Hatter with tuxedo black memento ink and colored him with copic markers (YR00, 02, 04 - E50, 01, 11 (skin) E13, 15, 17 (hair) - YG91, 93, 95, 97 - BV000, 02, 04, 08, 11 - W01, 02, 04) and memento Danube marker for his eyes. The patterned paper is from the basic grey "out of print" line and I found some flowers in my collection (drawer full LOL) that matched the paper (I think they are prima flowers) and glued some buttons in the middle. I stamped the sentiment with ranger archival ink and added a few kaiser split pea colored rhinestones to the bottom. It is hard to tell in the picture but I adhered the sentiment block using dimensionals. Also looking at the picture the card stock and one flower look almost black but it is actually bazzill "capers" card stock and it is kind of a dark olive green and so is the flower. I edged the white paper and patterned paper with spanish olive versa magic chalk ink.
Thanks so much to Kraftin Kimmie for another great challenge and for the awesome prize. I will make a project with my new stamp as soon as it arrives and post it on my blog!
Well that's it for tonight. It's late and I'm really tired and probably making lots of mistakes in this post LOL. I'll double check it tomorrow for errors!!!
Goodnight all have a fabulous Sunday.
